"Space battle ship YAMATO" is really excellent. Especially the version of "2199" is splendid.
There are however, the lines that I can never understand since I can remember.
"120% of energy filling"
-----
The scene must be the followings.
"Excessive energy is filling and the energy conduction pipes are crushed!"
"The wave engine is going to be broken through the housing strength critical point!!"
"Yamato will explode!”
After dazzling light over outer space of the jet black covered, it returns to an original state slowly, and an ending theme and a telop are appeared.
Space battle ship YAMATO is completed.
Soldiers who did not follow specifications
------
You should not use any machine over the limitation of specification.
If you fill more than "100%" of energy, even if it is a future space battle ship, the ship is going to be destroyed. It is a true story.
I can understand the feeling that someone want to load "something great" in the world "120%".
However, if we should maintain "technical nation, Japan", at first you must have boys and girls understand the common sense of the machine.
------
I think that you don't have to modify anything but the concept of "120%".
I am making a Linux kernel modules as a weekend researcher, after more than ten years.
At the same time, I am making a linux environment for a software development. But unfortunately, it make me annoy deeply.
At any rate, I am very surprised at dynamic changes of the environment, for example, online installs are default manners, and changing the concept of "super users".
There are some popular linux distributions in many kinds. In this case, I will decide it by numbers of user who use linux OS.
"Don't kick against the pricks." is the best way to to select one of several possible technologies or methods.
-----
I think that I select a world and have lived in it, somehow or other, after all.
For example, I l could meet "emacs" editor by chance, and I didn't have to learn "vi" editor. I was born in Japan by chance, but I didn't choose this Japan.
I think that
If I were a vi-lover, I would have no chance to admire "emacs " and abuse "vi" foolishly,
If I were born in a neighboring country, I would have no chance to use the phrase (of uncertain meaning) "a pride of Japanese" and abuse the the neighboring country's behavior based on their original cultures and habits.
Above all, our life platform is based on an ambiguous object, however,
for the sake of the ambiguous object,
changing facial expression or color
claiming their own justice,
abusing others actions or behaviors
might be
kinds of talent or ability.
I come to think that that's the reason, very recently.
(Continuation from yesterday)
I thought that "I don't want to improve my web site just for him"
That was true,
However, I noticed afresh that it was not just a local problem but impact other people by my daughter's claim.
Anyway, my hope is very simple that anyone who tries to access my web site, can read my web site anytime.
Therefore I am improving my web site now.
If you find pages of garbled characters in my web site, please mail me without being frightened.
-----
Well, I think the "rule junior" might not read this blog, and I will send the mail to him, including the following phrase.
"I have tried to improve it just for you"
However I am afrad that his reply must be like following,
"It is really in vain isn't it? Do you think that your web site is so popular, and numbers of repeater are so much ? Are you really full of yourself, Ebata-san ?"
(Continuation from yesterday)
In general, this problem is "really difficult"
In most cases, there is neither "awareness" nor "malice" in themselves.
I do not think that there is a person who spreads body odor likingly, and If "body odor" is caused by the constitution of the person himself / herself, that is ineffective.
I can feel "sexual harassment". "power harassment" and "smoking" is easier to be settled.
-----
At the present, the following is a list of my self-measurements against "body odor" including "age-old smell"
- I never miss taking a everyday's bath.
(Without it, I will suffer repeated recurrences of atopy soon. So taking a bath is compulsory for me.)
- I change my underware every morning ( morning shampoo is hard for me). Not to mention, I change "Y-shirt"
- I put an odor eliminating spray on every things
- I ask my wife and daughters to check my "body odor" regularly.
-----
What I can advice to you is the following.
- In order to use a third party check mechanism, let's make friends and lovers who will do "smell check".
- Purchase an "odor sensor"
might be good.
"We can not recognize my smell at any cost", moreover, "We can not expect any feedback that whoever can give me a comment about my smell from others"
Repeatedly, I say again that, it is not a problem, whether you have "consciousness" or "malice" on your own.
-----
However, without doing self-help efforts as above
- a person drinking until morning, without entering a bath or shower, with the same clothes, and coming on a train at the time of an in-service rush hour
- a person who is pushing "to hate bathing" as a reason of "freedom of individuals"
We don't have to forgive such persons at all.
(Continuation from yesterday)
My sister says that this problem is not the "IT literacy" but the risk of "leakage of personal information".
Certainly, if the information of elderly people with dementia leaks, it's like sending victims to cheaters.
It can be said that it is extremely risky.
However, No perfect safe systems are in the world.
To begin with, if a helper or a care manager leaks information, no matter what a robust system it is meaningless.
Apart from that.
-----
When I was working in the US before, my English teacher (American), who I asked for privately, said to me that
"When I lived in Japan before, I realized happiness that I could not understand Japanese"
It is inconvenient that we can not understand languages, however, it is quite happy that we can not understand unnecessary and unpleasant information,
-----
In other words, in the end I am "unhappy" to know how to make an IT system, how to use it.
Essentially, "coming to hate the world that not made like my own" ---- anytime, anywhere, any "idealist" is falling in this hole.
However I could reach the concept that
If "the daily lives of others are the object of hatred against my ideals"
conversely,
then "the daily live of mine becomes the object of hatred against someone's ideals"
It is "Symmetry of hatred" so called.
-----
So I still think that there is not much difference between "Aum Shinrikyo executive" and "me".
If there is a difference, I (A) noticed the "symmetry of hatred", (B) didn't spread the poison gas - that's all.
At present, the entire Kyushu area is suffering from record-breaking downpours.
I was getting anxious too, so I tried the "stackable hazard map" that was introduced on TV the other day.
Luckily, our house was not in the flood, mudslide or tsunami damage area.
That doesn't mean, though, that I can't escape the threat of earthquake-induced collapses, fires, and other disasters.
-----
My parents were victims of Typhoon Ise Bay, which submerged their house.
Since then, the Ebata family motto has been "Build up our residence higher than the watering hole".
My current home is also on higher ground.
I just measured the place with a GPS logger and Google Earth and found it to be at 72 meters above sea level.
-----
I was looking at the "stackable hazard map" and I noticed that there was something about a band of red areas that spread out in a band.
When I zoomed in a bit, I was surprised to see that almost all of the area around the Tama River is a flood warning area.
I checked the entire Tokyo area and found that the basins of the Iruma River, Arakawa River, and Edogawa River are almost completely red.
Much of Tokyo's 23 wards are painted in red, and the size of that red area is not even comparable to Kyushu.
It's no wonder that this "flood of rivers," which has been endless for over 10 million years, has created the vast Kanto Plain.
Not only the Kanto plains, but all the major cities in Japan that have plains where the population is concentrated are all designated as first-class flood designated areas.
-----
Just by visually observing the area of the hazard map,
"If a heavy rain like this one hits the Tokyo metropolitan area, the damage area will be lightly over 100 times"
I could make an unforeseen prediction.
In the first place, I am afraid that
- Once the war begins, within a few minutes after the war begins, multiple missiles (those with warheads) will fall
- A large earthquake leaves victims in the order of millions of people
- a viral infection spreads in the shortest time,
into the metropolitan area.
-----
However, I have no intention to say "What you should do", "what I should do"
Now I'm standing in a place where the chances of "substantially distressing", "intolerable suffering" and "inhuman death" are much higher than in other places. -
I thought it would be better to be prepared for that.
I think it's probably true for many players that "having an audience improves their motivation.
However, I don't really understand this "fact" as I have been athletically illiterate all my life, thoroughly avoided team play, and only played individual sports such as tennis and skiing.
For example, during a tennis match, when I'm thinking about how to hit a service shot, if people are cheering loudly for me, I comt to think that
"Shut up! I can't concentrate, so keep it down!"
When I saw a TV broadcast of a sumo tournament without an audience, I was so impressed by the tranquility of the battle that I thought, "Sumo is such a beautiful sport.
A baseball game where they yell at the opposing pitcher, and a Kendo game where they can get in big trouble if they try to yell at a player -- Can we just call these "cultural difference" ?
Of course, I hate any sport where it is "normal" to have players (not spectators) yelling at opposing players during a game.
Furthermore, the words "away" and "home" are already not "beautiful" in sports competitions.
-----
Therefore, I would like to affirm "no audience" not reluctantly, but logically and positively.
I believe that there is a beauty in sports events that are held without spectators that we do not yet know.
-----
Well, I am well aware that there are "few" or even "no" people who agree with my opinion.
I have already published my policy about election in Japan since the previous election, as follow.
This time too, I ask you the cooperation about my activities.
-----
According to my estimation, if we keep current state of Japan, our country's finance will be just barely maintained until my death.
If the youth come to think their future seriously, I, who am about to start pension life, am in great trouble.
I hope the youth and middle generations are not interested in politics, as much as possible.
-----
In comparison with the above, the elders should go to vote at all cost.
We have to save the candidate and the parties who are moderate, conservative and want to keep the current status, and crash new ambitious challenges.
Keep our vested interests and get away with pushing negative legacy on the next generation.
In addition, never forget that we, the elders, are the biggest vote field in Japan.
However, we should never relax our guard with saying "even if we leave us alone, we will win".
Making the younger and working generations as a footstool , we have to ensure that our safe and secure retirement is solid.
The vote day is July 10th, the next Sunday. Don't miss it.
-----
There are some Ebata's columns about election. If you are interested, go ahead.
I consider myself a "recluse."
I also minimize our attendance at work.
If it is a technical meeting and it isn't easy to work remotely, I come to the office.
-----
The conference will be held onsite for the first time in about three years.
I arrived at the hotel early in the morning, dragging our heavy luggage and taking transit.
"When will the day come when business trips are recognized as abuse?"
I was thinking and moving on.
-----
So, in a presentation on the first day of the conference, the presenter said?
'Remote work requires a human figure, a cheerful voice, and an up-tone topic,'
I objected to the outcome of this presentation with the counter-argument,?
"I don't want to see my boss, I don't want to hear his voice, and a cheerful boss then has some bad news."
The audience seemed to be in a fit of laughter, though.
"There may be a few like me. But they exist. I hope you will continue your research on these minorities in the future,"?
I added my requested comment.
