2014-08-23 I, who cannot succeed in, am right.

I pick up a book that give me a shock for several years,

"The wisdom of PSYCHOPATHS Kebin Dutton"

I think that the most famous person who is called "PSYCHOPATH" is Dr.Hannibal Lecter in the movie "The Silence of the Lambs"

I thought that the person is just movie's character.

However, I was very surprised to read that the person who is born without conscience, exists with fixed ratio (1.2 %?) in our society.

I froze to hear that some of them could kill a person with a feeling of choosing clothes.

In addition, the book says that the PSYCHOPATH is not only a Brutal criminal.

Some presidents of company, lawyers, and doctors

are also PSYCHOPATHs, and they can success in their business by their PSYCHOPATH qualification.

-----

I see.

The reason why I don't promote, I am not popular with women, and I don't raise good score of TOEIC is that

"I don't have the PSYCHOPATH's qualification."

Therefore, it is natural that I cannot success in socially, because I and gentle, can feel other pains, and have a feeling to be considerate to others, in short, I am a

"Honest human being"

A longtime question finally came to an end.

-----

Let's say loud now.

I, who cannot success in life, am right.

2015-08-23 Now we should expand the concept of "private remote controller".

There are five wireless remote controllers in my home, but we are in trouble because my family put the controllers at several places (floor, desk, kitchen, others).

I am irritated about searching the controllers, and I cannot watch a program that had recorded at my worst.

-----

Now we should expand the concept of "private remote controller".

It is funny to regard "remote controller" as a shared device, nevertheless we don't share cell-phone and smart-phone.

A person who has lost their remote controller, cannot come to access the television and recorder. I believe that this should be an ideal situation.

-----

In addition, we start again the concept of "quarrel over what TV program to watch" that is a traditional custom in the showa-period.

This quarrel might be going to be a technical war, using the technologies of wireless wave power, jamming and encode transfer.

No one can win the war without knowledge of information entropy theory.

In order for the reinstatement of IT engineer. I want to set the trend for "private remote controller".

2016-08-23 (2)No realtime information about weather including tyhoons and traffic accidents.

(Continuation from yesterday)

(2)No realtime information about weather including tyhoons and traffic accidents.

Most of the Internet video news are saved as recorded clips basically, the time-lag occurs between the time of the accidents and watching the clips.

If I don't take care of the differential time about tyhoons or traffic accidents, I will make an error in my assessment of the situation.

"To tell you the truth, these notices are annoying me"

-----

I become happy that TV stations stars the news are broadcasting on the Internet.

In fact, I doublt the existance of nesesarry of surface wave of BS.

As counter methods against natural disasters, I think that radio broadcastings are enough for us as a life line.

However, I said before, broadcasting businesses are mass of interest, so I know it is hard to be changed.

2017-08-23 "I have no friend"

From the time I was a teenager, until now, I have not known the definition of

"Friends"

"If we use the word "friends", we should be certified as "friends" with each other" --- I have thought it is troublesome.

In fact, when I heard that someone was saying "I am Ebata's friend", I always thought that

"Do not call me "friend" easily,"

And that logic came back to me like a boomerang,

"Can I call him / her" a friend "? "

I always went felling into self - contradiction.

-----

However, this problem seems to be solved by IT right now, is not it?

It is an "application for" friends ", by a SNS function

In my respect that my long-standing philosophical apolia was technically resolved,

I think that "technology" is still great.

-----

On the other hand, by the above "technology", the fact of

"I have no friend"

has been confirmed reasonably.

2018-08-23 "You are really shameless because you are not even a president. Much less to liken a warring lord to you "

Recently I enjoy reading the manga comic whose title is "howling a local woman (be Setoguchi Mizuki-san)"

Three comics has already been released until now, however for me, this might be the first time to buy all comics within 5days.

In these comics, there are a lot of keen and wit phrases and I will steal.. no, way quote them in my columns.

-----

For a "ridiculous" question from a boss, like, "Who is close to me, if I had been a warring lord?"

"You were an infantry weren't you?"

"You are really shameless because you are not even a president. Much less to liken a warring lord to you "

the man who gave out and was demoted to Shizuoka pref.

and

"Drinking party is a labor without allowance for overtime work, however we can endure to think it is a work"

the woman who gave a toast and returned her local(Shizuoka) from Tokyo,

and the mannerist others make a daily life in Shizuoka pref.

In these comics, "Mt.Fuji" and "Tokugawa Ieyasu (the original general of Edo Period)" come to appear anywhere, and they make me enjoy very much.

And the above is a prolegomenous.

2019-08-23 Talking to a child about "I was a bully performer" is a terrible and painful thing.

(Continuation from yesterday)

"I was bullying in this way when I was a child.”

Such an actual experience of adults should be more convincing than arranging a bunch of bullying damages and their remedies.

This is because those who are bullying are not aware that they are the bullyers at all.

But such a story does not come out.

It will not come out from now on.

Talking to a child about "I was a bully performer" is a terrible and painful thing.

-----

When I was in the fourth grade of elementary school, I was giving a little to the girl in the next seat with a fun and playful feeling.

At that time, when I was called by my homeroom teacher and heard that I was receiving a complaint from a girl, I was naturally surprised. More than that, I noticed

"I am a perpetrator"

"I do not realize that I am a "perpetrator""

At this time, the homeroom teacher seemed to have understood well that I was a child who did not recognize bullying. I realized that the teacher took care of me.

If there was no indication from this teacher, I didn't notice

"My daily life makes me a "perpetrator of bullying"

I am afraid that I was too late to realize the fact, or at worst, I have never noticed that.

I haven't been very grateful to "teachers" (in most cases teachers were enemies for me), I am truly grateful for this.

2020-08-23 (Q1) Your columns cover a wide range of subjects. How do you gather information?

On August 22, 2020, at about 10:41 a.m., I received an email from a reader of my column with a question.

I couldn't answer right away either, so I've been thinking about it for a day or two and decided to respond to him on my blog.

=====================

(Q1) Your columns cover a wide range of subjects. How do you gather information?

=====================

I don't do regular information gathering.

The column will basically be released once a month in January, so I've been doing a crazy amount of information gathering over the past month.

------

I can get a lot of information by using Internet search engines. and I use "Google Scholar" (paper search) more frequently than news and personal blogs.

In terms of good quality data, methodical logic, and a focus on extraordinary problems, papers are outstanding.

Nevertheless, I try to "lickety-split" because the text of the paper is difficult to understand.

For more information, this is how you can help.

-----

Other than papers, it's still books.

Since I don't have the money, I use the city library's reservation system to borrow books.

If I decide that I can't make it in time with a reservation, I pay my own way and buy the book on Amazon.

I've found ebooks to be very useful these days.

E-books are very useful because I can write a manuscript while reading a book on my PC display (so in my room, I have four PC displays running at all times).

However, specialty books are expensive, and that's a headache.

-----

One thing I use frequently these days is YouTube.

The YouTube content on "quantum computers" and "quantum theory" is excellent.

The lectures on YouTube, given by university professors and lecturers from prep schools, are excellent because the lectures are explained along with videos, I can stop and watch them over and over again if I cannot understand something,.

In general, content that is easy to understand has a larger audience, so it's good to be able to assess the quality of the content before I watch it.

-----

Otherwise, comic books are a treasure trove of information on social, government, medical, welfare, handicap, law, LBGT, science and technology, and more.

Also, hard science fiction novels, for example, are a pile of advanced technology.

-----

Also, I have "people who contacted us by email to tell him/her directly" and sometimes I go to the homes of experts.

I've learned a lot of things directly from LGBT people, and I've attended interviews about medicine, law, technology and content creators .

I ask before the interview, "I am sorry but I can't pay you for your help", however I've never been rejected by this reason.

-----

This isn't information gathering, but "Computer Programming & Simulation" is my strongest ally, but also my worst enemy.

A number of my hypotheses have been rejected by the results of this simulation.

==========

Q2: Are there any magazines, websites or newspapers that you regularly subscribe to?

==========

I do not have a subscription.

I don't have access to the information when I need them, and I can get back issues when I need them (although in many cases I can't get back issues).

However, I try to watch the NHK specials on a regular basis. If I have to, I pay for the NHK archives to watch them.

However, even if I pay a subscription fee or use the NHK archives, I can't watch all of the past content of the NHK Special. Honestly, I'm not happy with it.

As for the newspapers, I am in a situation where I have an "irregular subscription" because my wife changes newspapers regularly because she wants rice, detergent and tickets to the amusement park with the contracts.

Hence, I can write this diary.

That's all.

-----

Thank you for reading my columns.

I would be grateful if I could continue to subscribe to my works.

Best regards,

Tomoichi Ebata.

2021-08-23 "My daughters don't ask me to teach programming."

Today, new my column is released, so I take a day off.

Dancing Buzzword - Behind the Buzzword (14) STEM education(2)

The epitome of programming education in the "homemade Raspberry Pi class"

-----

My senior daughter graduated from a women's university in Japan last year, and she once said something interesting.

"The curriculum was strongly focused on women's place in society and how women should think about their future lives," and "however, there were times when I felt cramped, but only slightly."

I responded, "Well, I think it's natural for women's universities to have such a curriculum, since they should play a central role in such studies."

However, if there is an atmosphere in which it is considered a "mission" to create such a society, I thought to myself, "That may indeed feel constricting.

-----

Now, this story connects to

I responded, "Well, I think it's natural for women's universities to have such a curriculum, since they should play a central role in such studies."

The idea of "women don't need education" some decades ago can now be called "terrorism" that threatens the right to life of children (especially women) -- Of course, from today's common sense, it is 'extreme of nonsense'.

In contrast, the story I presented on "How to Create a 'Computer-Hard Girl'" is in a rather delicate position.

This is because no parent or guardian wants to interfere with a "girl who wants to learn about computers" (well, there are some parents who are that inept, but they are rare cases).

However, parents do not have the means to find girls who want to learn computers, and even if they did, they do not know how to teach computers.

Therefore, there is no spontaneous emergence of "children who want to study computers.

That' s because we probably won't get a chance to learn about computers in our lifetime (unless we have a "programming education").

About math, physics, chemistry, and biology, we don't have such opportunities, but about English, to my chagrin, we has many chances.

For example, "Radio XXXX English Conversation Textbooks" sell like hotcakes only in January and April every year.

-----

By the way, the environment for programming education in the Ebata family is perfect.

We have plenty of computers (20 if you count Raspy), we have IT engineers who are fluent in 5 computer languages, and can handle anything from the cloud to the edge.

There is only one problem.

"My daughters don't ask me to teach programming."

-----

Well, that's a good thing, I guess.

I don't want to create an atmosphere in my house where programming is considered a "mission".

2022-08-23 To tell such people to 'do programming with a purpose' is already a mess.

When I heard the phrase "The first programming language we should study", I thought "what?".

Certainly, in the case of programming language, there is no systematic education at the present.

For me, I studied "BASIC" for the first time.

Next, I learned "Pascal" and the next is "Assembler", and the next is "C"

In my opinion, "processes" and "threads" is no needed, and it is better to have only one programme point.

It is rather good that we don't have to study annoying something like compiling, libraries.

I think that no need to learn the concept of objects.

Anyway, I, who used several programming languages as appropriate and case by case, am not proper person to talk about this issue.

-----

Or rather, I am not familiar with the phrase 'programming language to learn'.

'Programming languages to use' is right.

I suppose there are times when the process of 'using' forces you to 'learn' by necessity, however,

Learning programming without a purpose will always fail. Absolutely.

But people with no programming experience do not know what they can do with a programme.

To tell such people to 'do programming with a purpose' is already a mess.

-----

Therefore, I have no words to say on this matter.

However, I have not dropped my pessimism that 'programming education' is still probably doomed to fail.

2023-08-23 We must not forget that our country has created a "fly" called "treated water from nuclear accidents."

I often cite the late Takashi Odajima's essay as a paradigm to explain "harmful rumors" and "health hazards."

(1) A fly-stopped cake poses absolutely no health hazard if eaten immediately after witnessing it.

(2) The question is, how many people can eat that "cake with absolutely no health risks"?

-----

China has been discharging into the ocean-treated water from nuclear power plants with the same or higher levels of radioactivity than Japan.

However, the treated water from China's nuclear power plants is from "normal nuclear power plant operations."

In comparison, the treated water in our country this time is due to a "nuclear accident."

As an engineer, I believe I understand "scientifically" that there is no difference between the above two.

However, the possibility that there may be a tremendous "difference" between the above two that we do not currently know about cannot be 100% denied.

----

We must not forget that our country has created a "fly" called "treated water from nuclear accidents."

I will not discuss today who created this "fly" and who is to blame for it.

However, I do not think we Japanese should forget this.

-----

By the way, I (Ebata) once ate a cake that a fly had stopped on.

There was no psychological resistance at all.
