My senior daughter, the first grade of high school, asked me to

"Stop using Smartphone, and exchange it to a traditional phone"

"After all, it becomes the conclusion."

I was overcome by deep emotion.

She said to me,

"I was really surprised to acknowledge that my time becomes consumed easier by the unit of "hours""

I think that this is true.

The teenager's time, like my daughter's time, has the highest value in their life as the density, the speed and the cost of the time.

"Gather ye rosebud while you may." is true proverbially.

If the time in love were lost by using even Youtube or Twitter, the damage is out of question. Japanese budget deficits are less important than that.

The rebirth possibility of Japanese budget problem is not zero, even if the number is almost zero. We have some future visions of submarine oil field and methane hydrate.

But the possibility of "love in teenager" become zero, if they pass the period.

Even if it not "love", "studying", "reading", "human relationship", and "extending their knowledge"

Though I don't say "SNS or Twitter are worthless", everybody could accept that those media is easier to consume time.

Of course, there become no problem if they control their time by themselves. But it is also difficult for adults.

So, I can respect my daughter's decision of "putting up a flag of surrender, and calling for help to her guardian".
