I make diary, handout, program code, and questionnaire and upload them to the Web server, everyday.

For many people except for me, I am afraid that these contents are unworthily, however, for me, they are sort of "macrograph of life" rather than "epitome of life".

Now I use a rented web server on the Internet, and store contents of mine, however, this server becomes albatross for me.

In days of old, a server provider became bankruptcy or run away, and the server came to down without cautions suddenly.

Nowadays, cyber attacks are real threat.

Even servers of companies or government that are likely to be full preparation, are attacked and hijacked.

The reason why my server has not been attacked directly until now, is just "worthless to attack my virttual server", however if someone attack the server itself, obviously my virtual server will get involved.

So the daily backup becomes more important. I feel scared unless I regularly store the contents of remote servers on your computer.

In addition, the storage of that computer may also be corrupted, so the backup of backup can not be neglected.

After all, I am doing such content creation from the last century (20th century), so total of amount is huge.

The backup is really difficult to this reality.

Previously, it was enough to operate the GUI of the FTP tool, and select all the files of the entire site.

However, recently, when a remote server discovers strange FTP access, the server is going to stop the download all at once by the "security measures" provisioning.

So in the last weekend, I have been doing troublesome things, that are manual restart of the FTP tool again and again.

However, even if such a backup is performed, I guess it is just my self-satisfaction.
