I want to use an OSS GIS software, and I had spent much time at weekend for the research activities.
Above all, there is no information about the software.
It cannot be helped that there is no Japanese documents. However, why cannot I get English documents either?
I know that I can't complain about a free software in the OSS.
"Don't use it, if you complain"
If I get said it, I cannot argue against it.
Because it is really a just argument.
-----
I was going to be beyond bearing if I spend weekend time anymore, I bought a expensive technical book against my will.
By the way, there are strange book like, Economic Survey of Japan, Technology Survey of Japan, and Suicide Survey of Japan in my house.
However, I was about to cry because I could not find what I wanted to try in the expensive book.
There was nothing for it but to try the samples in the book, and to research information on the net. While doing them, I noticed
"Why is this data truncated here ?"
I tried to stop the the truncated function, I could succeeded in making a figure I wanted in just about no time.
-----
I almost cried that I had spent much time just for this procedure.
Taking this as an example,
"I used Shinkanse super express or airplane to go to a convenience store within two hundred meters from here."
"What a slight result even using much money and time !" however, this is "popular".
Thanks to this grand view of the trip, I can operate several functions of this GIS software.
However I wonder whether it pays or not.

There are a lot of detour like them, in technology field.
To tell you the truth, I think that any route is a detour.
Some engineers think "this is a vain detour" and others become "irrationally defensive", It depends on their personality.
The former is right for a cost return, and the latter is right for a skill return.
Anyway, it is true that engineers has been tired from this "detour" everyday.
