Now I ask some college students to help a campus field experiments.
The students in the science and engineering majors, is really polite, logical and intelligent, so I feel good to talk with them.
Incidentally, I am in the science and engineering majors.

This time, more than 60% of the students who helped did not have a driver's license.
While thinking that I need to get a driver's license, I became "M1" (first year master's student) ...
I feel that this story is like that
"I have to take the TOEIC test before I get a job..."
This is just my guess, however, they are thinking
"Obtaining a driver's license is as annoying as taking the TOEIC test"
-----
I was forced to get a driving license by my parents more than 30 years ago.
At that time, I felt like I only needed a motorbike license, and I still think so.
However, this may only be felt because of the large urban transportation network.
The only exception for me, when I was sent to the United States, I thought, "If I don't have a car, I will die in three days in this country."
