I had decided, "I will never forgive only the Yukijirushi Brand company (group)".
The next two incidents enraged me,
- Yukijirushi food poisoning case (June 2000)
- Yukijirushi seal beef counterfeit incident (October 2001)
These were cases of 'there is a limit to the disregard for human life'.
There are references to these incidents in my past diaries.
If the Yukijirushi brand products come on the market, I had the intention of 'making a fuss on my website to remind everyone vividly of the past incidents'.

Today, I finished watching NHK's "Law of Failure: Two Incidents at Yukijirushi Brand" which I had recorded.
In the program, there was a detailed explanation of the Yukijirushi Brand Group's 20-year effort to regain trust and revitalize the company (although of course, I am sure there was some "staging" involved).
After watching this program, I was finally able to think, 'I can lower my raised fist'.
In part because it was partially in line with my thinking.
Still -- I do believe that "failures involving human life" need to be separated from "other failures".
Aside from that.

Ebata: "You don't see Yukijirushi brand products in one store anymore, do you?"
Wife: "What? They are at home."
I was so surprised that I went through the contents of the refrigerator.
This is what I found.
She said 'other brands of butter are hard to find in stores'.
And my second daughter enjoys baking and seems to consume a lot of butter.
What can I say -- apparently, unbeknownst to me, the Ebata family was a supporter of the Yukijirushi Brand.
