Recently, I often watch TV program of vital old person's life.

そして、その秘訣、食事とか、運動とか、習慣とか、施設とか、あるいは家族、コミュニティなどが紹介されます。

The programs disclose us the secrets, for example, foods, exercises, customs, facilities, families and communities are introduced.

「お元気な御老人」の生き様は、私たちに勇気を与えてくれると思います。

The real life of the vital old persons come to encourage us.

しかし、その「お元気なご老人」の「最期」は、放送されません。

However, the endings of the vital old persons are never broadcasting.

これは、番組として未完成であり、そして誤った認識を与えている。

This is imperfect and more inexpiable because of giving false impressions.

「お元気なご老人」も、いずれは「元気でないご老人」になり、そして、その後は、同じような死へのプロセス ―― それは、介護の現場へと進むしかあません。

The vital old persons are eventually going to be no vital old persons, and we all have to needs nursing cares and take a process to go to death.

These programs give us a image that

―― 「お元気なご老人」が「お元気なご老人」のまま、ずうっと続き、突然、スイッチが切られるように、最期を迎えられる ――

the vital old persons can keep their vital and health and suddenly lead to death like power-switch.

そんな、都合のよいエンディングが、本当に存在しているかのように見せる点において、恐ろしく罪深いと思うのです。

That is awful inexpiable as if the convenient ending really exists in our life.

私たちは、「老いる」ことを、運命的に、そして病的に恐れています。

We are so nervous of becoming old fateful and sickly.

それは、介護する側も、介護される側にも、そこに「希望」がないからです。

Because there is no "hope" for both caring and cared persons.

健康な日常生活への復帰の可能性のない命 ―― これは一体、何なのだろう？

Life for no return to health and vital. What on earth is it?

私には分かりませんでした。

I don't know the answer.

私は、この疑問に対して、ソーシャルワーカやケアマネージャの人に、直接尋ねてみたことがあります。

So, I had asked the above question to a social worker and a care manager directly.
