どこの子供を持っている家庭なら、同じ苦悩があると思うのですが、

I am afraid that any guardians are annoying same problems as follows.

PTA役員になることを、誰もが恐れているようです。

Anybody fears to become PTA officers.

それは、その役員が報われることなく、めちゃくちゃに大変であるからです。

The reason is that the task is too hard, and doesn't pay at all.

PTAの存在意義は理解しているつもりですが、今日はその議論を吹っ飛ばして、2つほど提案してみたいと思います。

However I know the significant of meaning of PTA, I want to skip the discussion about this problem and propose the following two,

■ＰＴＡ役員が立候補でなかったら、その年のＰＴＡの活動は全部停止する。そのクラスの子供たちと保護者が、その不利益を負う。

(1)If no candidacy, accept to stop any event in the school. The children and their guardian take the demerit.

たとえば、そのクラスは運動会や学芸会に参加できない　――　これでいいのではないかと。一部の人間を犠牲にして、なりたつ行事なんて欺瞞ですよ。

For example, to give up joining field day and school plays. I think that it is better than others scarification.

■ＰＴＡの事務局を雇う。

(2)Hire a PTA officer.

面倒なのは事務処理、事項通知なのですから、そこは「金」で人を雇う。あるいは、ＰＴＡ役員を、ボランティア色を消した、完全報酬業務とする（当然、税金の対象）。

Paperwork and notifications are hassle, so we try to hire a proper person by money, or we pay money to candidates. The money is subject to income tax return, of course.

この方法は、PTAの本来の趣旨を損なうでしょうが、制度としての仕組みは維持できると思います。

However this method will harm the spirit of the original PTA, I think it is to keep the mechanism as an institution.

私の知る限り、この方法が提案されていないようです。

As far as I know, this method has not been proposed, and I don't know the reason.
