西尾維新さんの「化物語」を含む「物語シリーズ」は、私にとっては、「愛読書」という域を超えて、ほとんど「参考書」にまで昇華しています。

"The books of Monogatari series" that includes "Bake-monogatrari" have become not only my favorite books but the reference books of my columns.

For example, I have used the books, like,

という使い方をしています。

先日、帰宅時の電車の中で、ガテン系風のおっさん二人の会話から、「化物語」という単語が出てきた時は、本当にビックリしました。
