「やさしい水素爆弾の作り方」 は、20年以上も前の私のコラムですが、今でもちょくちょく引用されているようです。

I think that one of my magnum opus is "how to make hydrogen bomb(H-bomb) simply" that had released before more than 20 years. This columns has been often quoted by many people.

学生の科学の実験でできるような、水素の化学反応を使った爆発(酸化反応)について書いてあります。

This column shows an explosion of chemical reaction of hydrogen, based on a science class in an elemental school.

このコラムは、わざと、いわゆる「水爆」(核融合反応)を想起するような題目になっていて、このコラムを読んだ読者が、

I made this title to let readers misunderstand about fusion bomb on purpose. and I expected that

とニヒルに笑えるように、この題目「やさしい水素爆弾の作り方」を冠したのです。

That is the reason why I made this title "how to make hydrogen bomb(H-bomb) simply".

しかし、核融合反応と、科学反応の違いを知らない人間が、こんなにも沢山いるのかと思い知ったのは、いわゆる、あの2011年の3月11日の震災の後でした。

このコラムをリリースした1990年代前半、インターネットに参加することができた人間は、かなり少数でした。

When I released this column in the early 1990s, few people could join the Internet.

それなりのネットワークの知識を有していた、理系の人間でなければ、難しかったのです。

It was difficult to join it for people who had majored in science known about network technology.

少くとも、化学反応と核融合反応の違いを理解していない人間のことまでは、考えなくても良い時代だった、ということです。

At least I didn't consider the person who had not known the difference between chemical and fusion reaction.
