魔法少女マドカマギカには、「ソウルジェム」というアイテムが登場します。

The item called "Seoul Gem" appears in magic girl "Madoka Magica".

これは、一見、手の平の上にのるサイズの装飾具のようなものですが、魔法少女となった主人公たちの魂の本体が収められるものです。

This seems to be a decoration whose size is like on a plam, however, it contains their real soul.

「ソールジェム」が彼女達の体から、100メートル以上離れたら、彼女達の体は稼動しなくなってしまいます(死体と同じ状態となる)。

If the "Soul Gem" is apart from their bodies more than one hundred meters, their bodies are not going well. (It becomes the state same as the body).

私達の会社には、「移動鍵」という名前が付されたデバイスが、社員の一人一人に配布されています。

In our company, the device which is called "movement key" is distributed to the each employee.

これは、一見、USBメモリのように見えますが、社員である私達の業務サーバへのアクセスに必要不可欠な情報が収められているものです。

Seemingly you see this device like USB memory, however, it contains essential information to access to our server for business.

「移動鍵」が、業務用のクライアントPCに挿引されない状態では、業務サーバを使うことができず、私達の仕事は機能しなくなってしまいます(社内失業者と同じ状態にとなる)。

Even if we don't put this "movement key" into our client PC for business, we cannot use any company servers at all. Eventually we cannot do anything anywhere.(We become the state same as an unemployed person)

今朝、この「移動鍵」が(文字通り)目の前から消え失せて、パニック状態になりました。

This "movement key" disappeared (literally) suddenly this morning at my room, and I became the panic state.

部屋中を探して、机の角にひっかっかっているのを見つけた時は、『命が助かった』と思いました(本当)。

After looking for the whole room and finding it at the corner of the desk, I breathed a sigh of relief.

この「ソウルジェム」・・・ではなく「移動鍵」を失うと

If we lose "Soul Gem"... , "movement key"

(社内秘密に当たるので)多くは語れませんが ――

I cannot talk more (it is a company secret), however,

「ソウルジェム」を失なった魔法少女と、『社会人として』概ね同じ目に遭うことになります。

we are going to encounter the same tragedy of the the magic girl who lost "Seoul Gem" as a member of society.
