私のコラムに関する感想をネットで見てみると、

この際、はっきり申し上げましょう。

『私は、そんな演出ができるほどの"頭脳"はありません』

今回、私が「悪魔の計算」を着想したのは、プロットも、図面も、ほぼ完成して、文章を記載している最中でした。

This time, when I reached to "Calculation of devil", I had already finished making plot and the drawing and I was writing a sentence.

『ああ、神が降りてきちゃった』と、深く溜息をついたものです。

"Oh, the god has come down", I sighed deeply.

この神、結構迷惑な奴なのです。

This god, quite annoying me.

なにしろ「神が降りてくる」と、ほとんどプロットから練り直すことになるからです。

For most reasons, If "God will come down", I almost have to be rebuilt from the plot.

図は、流用できるんですが、文章はほぼ全部書き直しです。

The figure can be reused, but almost all the sentences will be rewritten.

しかも、この神は、多くの場合、締切日当日の深夜(AM1時くらいが多い)に降りてくるんですよ。

Moreover, in many cases, this god comes down at midnight on the day of the deadline (often around 1 o'clock in the AM).

神は言います。

God said,

『ほれほれ、この計算、お前のシミュレータに4行ほど、死亡率の上書きルーチンを加えれば、ほーら、完成だ』

"Come on, about this calculation, if you add 4 lines about mortality overwrite routine to your simulator, it will be complete."

『ん？ やらないのか？ ほ～う、やらないんだー。そうかー、お前、できないんだー』

"Hmm? Do not you do it? Well, you don't do it. or you can not do it"

と、不快な挑発をしてきます。

That God would make an unpleasant provocation.

「ちくしょう!」 と思いながら、プログラムの修正をし、死亡率のパラメータを変更しながらの、50回程度のコンパイルと再計算を繰り返し、データを一点一点の計算しました。

While thinking "Damn!", I calculated the data one by one, while modifying the program, changing the mortality parameter, and repeating compiling and recalculating about 50 times.

計算が終ったころには、外が明るくなっていました。

By the end of calculation, the outside became bright.

「今から文章の再構成かぁ」と、ウンザリしました。

I thought that "I will reconstruct the sentences from now", and I got fed up.
