I am homecoming.

スマートEXで、スマートに新幹線の切符を購入したのに、発車時間を間違えて、乗り過しました。

I purchased the bullet train ticket smartly with Smart EX, I got on the wrong time.

で、別の新幹線に乗り込んで車両の通路のところに座りながら、この日記を書いています(もちろん、自由席には文句なしに乗れるんですけどね)。

So, I'm writing this diary while getting on a different Shinkansen and sitting on the floor of the passageway. (Of course, I could ride any Shinkansen on the free seat)

世間的には、50過ぎのおっさんが、こうやって、通路の間に座り込んでいるというのはどう見えるんだろうなぁ、とか考えなくもありませんが ――

From a public point of view, I thought how people think the old man was sitting on the floor like this -

フロアに展開されているのが「カップ酒」でなく、「ノートPC」と「2台のスマホ」というのは、まあまあ今風でしょうか。

It might be modern style that "laptop PC" and "two smartphones" were opened on the floor, not "cup liquor".

この12月は、外注の発注やら物品の発注納期の締切で、細心の注意を払いながら ―― それ以外はほとんど何もできなかった ―― と思えるほどの、業務処理を行ってきました。

In December, I was paying close attention at the deadline of placing orders or outsourcing for goods or software --- I could hardly do anything else except them --- I've been doing business processing.

年末の最後に、こういうポカをするところが、なんとも私らしいです。

It seems to me at all at the end of the year.

まあ、これが、今年度最後のポカというのであれば、そんなに悪くはない「ポカ」だとは思います。

Well, if this is the last "mistake" this year, I think that it is not so bad "mistake".

私、通路に座り込んであぐらを書いてPCを使うなどは、私は得意ですし ―― ぶっちゃけ、国際線のターミナルで数時間待たされて怒り心頭だったことを思えば ――

I'm good at sitting in the aisle and using a PC with sitting with my legs crossed. Thinking that it was keenly angered with waiting for several hours at an international terminal

1時間半程度の電車の移動など、どうということはありません。

There is nothing to do with train movement of about an hour and a half.
