I confirmed the issue again, again and again.

Because this topic was the most important point for my family.

Before the contract, all of seller of the mass sales store promised,

"iPhone is available for "AU Safety Navigation service"

I also said that "All my family use the service and we have to give up changing Softbank regardless of the cost"

So I didn't understand why I could not set up the service.

So I went to a AU shop and bowed in apology with saying

"May I ask you set up the service for this iPhone?"

However I had an experiment of construction for a social infrastructure. I had to bow my head for just a communication terminal,

-----

Eventually, the person in the AU shop and told me that

"iPhone is not available for "AU Safety Navigation service"

I couldn't understand that not only retailers but clerk in AU shop didn't know the service at all.

On the other hand, I seemed to be a poor victim who got taken in and made the contract with false description of contents.

Anyway,

I cannot write anything anymore with range.

-----

Who will contact me after reading this my flamed message?

I am going to open the report for some time in the future.

(Continuation from yesterday)

Let's return to the topic, in the column I introduced yesterday,

(1)I explained the fact based on my experiment that a mutual communication is possible even if we use Japanese style English pronunciation (Katakana-English) and grammar,

(2)Therefore, it becomes really risky that we should change the policy of English education insisting on correct pronunciation and grammar.

After that, I got several comments I have expected on the Internet.

■Japanese English

- "The idea of Japanese English is not bad. It is important to use English without hesitation."

- "But I oppose Ebata's proposal that makes light of the precise pronunciation and grammar.

- "Such a rough English should be used based on the correct pronunciation and grammar education. "

Why I said "expectation" is that the above comments has been argued for the long time before I was born, and the policy of education is continuing now.

In conclusion, the results are as follow.

(2)The second

At the night of the day before yesterday, I heard the NHK English news, recorded in my POD. The news said that

"The level of English in senior high school students is not enough against the Japanese government expectation. "

It said that speaking and writing skill is desperate crisis.

In addition, the news said,

"Many students don't think that English become to need for their future."

It is too late to say that,

"I told you so didn't I?"

(Continuation from yesterday)

In the same way, I am not interested in younger persons thoroughly.

In particular, a person who doesn't recognize other persons just as a "others", like me,

the younger co-workers are just same co-workers.

"Both rookie and a co-worker in 10 years are collectively "younger than me.""

"Not at all other than that"

Even if there is a value that ""Ebata is fairly contact to everyone", only he cannot recognize a parameter of "unfairness". Nobody doesn't have to praise him.

(Continuation from yesterday)

The communication cost was free of charge because of free Wifi of the hotel. So she didn't have to take care of duration of call either.

To begin with, they might not have the concept of "international call".

-----

"When I was young, "

I visited a underpopulated village at a developing-country, telephones didn't become common,

the place where there was a telephone was only the post office in the village,

I asked them to use the telephone in the local language,

I waited in about for an hour,

I shouted at the operator "Tokyo Operator Please!!" again and again,

I told the next operator my call number of my country house.

I could talk to my parents, finally.

-----

However, if I talk about this, I will get a blank stare,

"Why were you traveling such a remote place? "

とか、

or

"Why were you calling parents' house so often? "

They bound to ask me the above.

I often make my works in the small hours.

When the work is a drawing, I will send it to my family by Mail and Line, however,

Last night, all of my family asked me,

"to stop it"

I asked the reason to them, they said

"The sound of smart-phone wakes me"

I was really surprised.

-----

Ebata: Why do all of you set the ringing tone, at the incoming Mail and Line ?"

Senior Daughter(SD):"It is just common".

Ebata:"No way! we, IT engineers have believed that E-mail has a merit of "the recipient can reply at their own convenience", so we have been trying to spread it.

I also had a wicked intention, "I do not reply to unpleasant e-mails" or "I want to ignore troublesome work".

-----

Wife: "We are doing work on the line, so the ringing sound is absolutely necessary"

Second daughter: "Ring tone setting is common sense"

I reluctantly agreed to stop using Mail and Line to my family at midnight.

-----

I have ever made my own e-mail agent (M2M (IoT system) using e-mail), so I complained that "I am feeling down, because the basic idea of e-mail seems to be trampled down", however,

SD:"any tool continues to develop beyond the intentions of the developers "

I was admonished by her.

"You are not a human being"

I watched the poster with the phrase.

To tell you the truth, I was really surprised.

However, at the next moment, I was moved deeply that "the system concept I have been said, as the next generation social infrastructure system, has been appealed by such a way.

IoT&P(The Internet of Things and People)の構想。

It is the concept of The Internet of Things and People (IoT & P), which considers "humans" as "system components" of "observable" targets of social infrastructure systems.

Furthermore, that will realize "analog hack" which "human" is "control" target by super-high-speed mass optimization calculation (xAI).

I cannot expect that this concept would be expressed in this way.

-----

Even so, while thinking that what an avant-garde poster this is, I reviewed it again,

"You are not alone"

It was a poster with a call to prevent suicide and a phone number for consultation.

I replaced my broken ski boots and bought used ski boots online.

I have to use it because I bought it, so I went skiing on the middle of a three-day holiday.

By the way, it seems that the daughter (senior daughter) who wanted companionship (parasitic) decided to go with her boyfriend the next day.

They seem to try the first board ski in their life.

I thought, "Is it okay for beginners?", however, I thought it was not my business.

-----

Ski resorts will be was quite deserted, I thought, however, I was wrong.

I was not able to enter the first parking lot, so I had to the second parking lot, and I was carried by shuttle transportation to arrive the ski plaec.

And in the last few years, I have seen the largest number of ski place.

Thinking about it, skiing is a fairly safe leisure activity to avoid two of the three major requirements for virus infection. (distance from humans, not enclosed space (by skis and boards))

In addition, my "Solo Ski" has the advantage of "no conversation needed".

Ski resort cafeterias may be at higher risk of infection, however, It was fine because I had a solo lunch at a remote place.

I was attacking the same moogulose course all day, however, I couldn't skid well and was hit off the course, after all.

In such cases, I know that I should think logically. and I came to think of

"How about geo-fence routing to minimize the vertical kinetic energy?"

(You don't know what I was thinking but it's understandable for a researcher who wander the deadline during an outdoor experiment.)

I magined a geofence on the sides of snow convexs, and made them blink on after another in my head. and kept stepping on the geofence --- I was able to glimpse down the moogulose course.

I was glad and sent a LINE message to my family, saying, "Win with the GIS (*) approach."

I'm going to stop now because it's getting tedious, but the bottom line is that these people are also "badasses" who are afraid of being the only one absent.

Let me explain it a little more carefully.

"If you're the only one who's absent because of Corona, you're afraid of being treated like a slacker, so you attend.

like this one.

-----

I was quite worried that the chief prosecutor of the Tokyo High Public Prosecutors Office, Hiromu Kurokawa, would commit suicide out of remorse and self-punishment, regardless of the criticism from the public.

The Tokyo High Public Prosecutors Office is an organization of justice that exposes the darkness of state power, and the chief prosecutor is the head of the organization of justice, directing and supervising the staff of the District Public Prosecutors Office and the District Public Prosecutors Office.

After all, what my generation remembers is the Lockheed case.

The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office Special Investigation Department, under the jurisdiction of the Tokyo High Public Prosecutors Office, was our hero.

For a person in this position to play "betting mah-jongg in the Corona vortex" should be a disgrace to the faceless public, to the organization and to one's own subordinates, regardless of what the law says (right?). It's a shame that you can't face the organization or your subordinates.

And many Japanese have tried to apologize to their organizations and families for such "shame" by committing suicide.

So I was really worried about it.

That's why I didn't mention any of this -- apparently, my fears were unfounded.

I was relieved.

-----

Now I wonder if it would have been better to write something anachronistic like, "Cut your belly open and show your apologies to the people.

For the first time in two years, I went to a ski resort -- and I had a bad experience.

I had no choice but to do the first one or two "falls" and "off the board," but I had to continue to course-close that condition.

Above all, I was shocked by the fact that "it is no longer possible to ski down slopes of 2 to 3 km in length all at once.

I have skied down the slopes of Whistler Blackcomb (Canada), with a height difference of 1,600 meters, in one fell swoop, and I have even taken a helicopter downhill from the summit.

That is the regular intermediate course as well as the expert course. How miserable I am.

Usually by the afternoon, the feeling of being on skis disappears and a heightened sense of togetherness emerges, but this time, I ended the entire day feeling exhausted.

After pulling off the slopes, my strength to take off my ski boots or unbutton my clothes disappeared, and I could not move at all.

I am honestly shocked.

-----

Although the food at the ski resort is improving, I still don't think the quality is worth the price.

So this time, I bought some pastries at a convenience store and nibbled on them at the lodge on the slope.

This time, I skied from 9:30 to 16:00, with the exception of two breaks, so I may have been overworked, but I still estimated it to be enough for calorie counting purposes.

This was similar to the symptoms I had when I was in junior high school, when I had no money, and on a whim, did a 100 km round-the-peninsula bicycle ride, and was completely immobilized.

"Hunger knock?"

Hunger knock is a phenomenon in which a person continues to exercise without feeling hungry, even if he or she is not hungry, resulting in an extremely low blood sugar state and using up all the energy to move the body.

I have been working from home recently and have been running low on food and drinking water. Not to mention the lack of exercise.

If I has not exercised for two years and has been exercising for about five hours straight, a hunger knock is quite possible.

On the highway on the way back, I had a sleeping spell that felt completely dangerous and I had to flee to a nearby PA.

And as soon as I stopped the automobile, I passed out (that was not the level of "napping").

After that, I had no appetite, but I implemented a forced intake of ice cream and other foods for my return home.

-----

In general, there is a single word that describes all of these phenomena.

"I'm getting old"

It's inevitable that I "get old."

However, a decline in muscle strength and endurance will reduce one's range of motion (range of action).

I want to maintain a body that can go anywhere in the world at a moment's notice until just before I die.

Oh, by the way, I am working hard on indoor pull-ups.

The other day, I was able to achieve four consecutive Ebata-style pull-ups(*).

(*)Using a bar set up on the roof of Ebata's room, a cheater's pull-ups are considered "one time" just by hitting your head against the ceiling.

By the way, I couldn't even do "once" today.

I have muscle aches all over my body and it is very difficult to get downstairs.

Today, I continue our "burden of proof" series too.

I have mentioned several times in the past that I used to attend law seminars at my own expense, and one of the most surprising stories I heard was

"The difference between the burden of proof for the plaintiff and the defendant in a criminal case trial"

To put a civil case trial in a nutshell, it is a "personal v.s. personal" dispute.

In contrast, a criminal trial is a "state v. individual" dispute.

This is not a good start to the game.

This is because the state (the prosecution) is by far the strongest party in criminal cases.

-----

State: "a professional investigative team (police)," "a group of legal experts specializing in attacks (prosecutors)," "state-of-the-art scientific means of investigation, and ample funds to staff them."

Personal: Basically, "personal private property".

It is like a "nuclear missile v.s. defendant's personal suicide attack with a bamboo spear," so to speak.

-----

Hence, in criminal trials, the following rules are based on the "overwhelming advantage of the prosecution".

The procesution must complete the followings,

(1) without contradiction,

(2) perfectly,

(3) with rock-solid evidence and login that will never be broken, no matter how they is attacked, and

(4) the responsibility to make it clear in court.

The prosecution must complete so much work to win the case.

On the other hand, if the defendant can point out a tiny fraction of the above, say "1%" or "0.01%" of discrepancies or discrepancies, then they "win".

In the law seminar, this was explained with the phrase,

"The defendant wins if he or she can 'shake' the logic constructed by the prosecution, even by just 1mm"

This may seem like a huge advantage for the defendant, but remember - the defendant is dealing with a "nuclear missile" called the state.

In other words, the retrial in the Hakamada case was "shaked" the logic of the prosecution by the "1%" or "0.01%"

(Note that I will not address the merits of this case today.)

-----

As prosecutors backed by state power, "fabricate" is a piece of cake.

Therefore, high moral standards are required on the part of prosecutors, but there are limits to what human beings can do after all.

The assumption that 'he is definitely the culprit' is bound to occur.

To begin with, the conviction rate in Japanese criminal trials is 99.9%.

This is a sickening enough number without looking at it statistically.

In other words, if you are charged in a criminal court, you will almost certainly be convicted.

-----

So, what we need to do, in such a helpless way, is

"To continue to be a "small citizen" who does not attract the attention of state power"

This is the only choice.

-----

The reason I introduce myself at drinking parties by saying, "I have been trying to be a 'small citizen' my whole life," is not just to get a laugh.

I have a passion for agriculture, fishing, and livestock.

But I know full well that these jobs require advanced technology, vast know-how, and much time, energy, and mental strength to acquire.

Unfortunately, I have resigned myself to the fact that finding another job in this field would be impossible in this life.

-----

I have a longing to be a fisherman.

I think it is a wonderful life to be able to eat fresh fish every day.

I also have a passion for dairy farming.

I think it is a wonderful life to drink fresh milk every day.

I, on the other hand,

- I have a disgusting amount of computers and displays,

- I have tons of useless memory and peripherals,

- I have expensive and sophisticated computational tools.

Perhaps some people consider this kind of life a "wonderful life" (I don't believe it).

-----

Aside from whether "fish," "milk," and "computers" can be discussed in the same breath, it is likely that "those who have it" are "unaware of what they have."

In other words, "Everyone envies what they don't have, and everyone is unhappy.

That's nice.

I want to release this revised version of Misuzu Kaneko's well-known poem, "Everyone is different, everyone is good.

Everybody's unhappy, everybody's good."

Yeah, this one feels more comfortable to me.

I presume that "more than a few people feel the same way I do."
