大学生の頃、一個上のイケメンの先輩と学食で御飯を食べていたときのことです。

When I was a college student, I had a chance to eat a lunch with my senior at a cafeteria.

先輩が、プラスチックの茶碗についていた御飯粒を、一つ一つ箸で摘んで、口に運ぶ姿を見た時、このイケメン先輩に心を奪われてしまいました。

I thought that I would have fallen for him easily, if I had been a woman.

(これを「貧乏くさい」という女性は、私のスコープ外ですので、考慮しません)

I don’t care about a woman who says “he is poverty", because she is out of my scope.

我が家では、スイカの食べ方に、個人差があります。

私が食べ終わったスイカには、「赤色」が残っていません。

嫁さんが食べ終わったスイカには、完全に「赤色」が残っています。

Whole red color of water melon that my wife has finished eating.

私は、「スイカの果実を全部平らげるべきである」といい、嫁さんは「スイカを楽しむ為には、美味しいところで止めるべきである」と言います。

I claim that we should eat whole flesh of water melon, and my wife claims that we should eat delicious flesh only.

確かに、スイカの白い部分は、甘くなく、美味しくありません。

Certainly, the part of white flesh is not delicious.

食事が娯楽の一態様であるなら、嫁さんが正しいようにも思えます。

From the viewpoint of "enjoy meal", the opinion of my wife seems to be right.
