人生に何度もチャンスがある訳ではなく、そして人生の大きな岐路になる入学試験 ―― 入試
Though there are few chance, the change is going to decide the direction of our life --- Entrance examination.
入試を受ける為には、長い時間をかて、勉学に勤しみ、学力を高め、直前になれば、体調のコンディションを整える必要もあります。
In order to take the examination, we have to study hard for a long time, increase our academic ability. And another thing, we also have to maintain bodily functions at the last days.
が、何より、受験会場にいかなければ、入試を受けることができません。
Above all, I have to arrive at the place of the examination to take it.
そして、保護者である私ができることは、「受験生である娘を無事に受験会場に届けること」だけです。
What I am going to do as a guardian is only "take my daughter as an examinee to the place in good condition"

受験日が近づくにつれて、私の緊張も徐々に高まってきました。
As the examination day approached, my strain gradually increased.
最初の懸案は「雪」でした。
The first pending problem I thought was "snow".
関東エリアの公共交通機関は、雪に非常に懦弱です。ちょっとした積雪でも交通ダイヤがズタボロになります。
The public transportation system in Kanto-area is very weak against snow. The system become broken easier by a few centimeters deep.
それでも「雪」は予報があるので、ある程度の準備は可能です。
However, a weather forecast will help us to prepare to some extent.
どうしようもできないのが「人身事故」です。
It is "accident resulting in injury or death", that I can never control.
発生の時間、場所ともに予想が不可能で、その波及範囲をリアルタイムで読むことも絶望的に困難です。
I cannot predict when and where the accident happens, and estimate the extent of the impact in real time.
出発時間を早めたとしても、人身事故発生後に、回避ルートが直ちに確保できる保証はありません。
Even if we start the departure earlier, there is no guarantee to get the evasion route immediately.
そして、大抵の受験校は、天災・人災いずれでもデッドラインの時間が決められていて、事故の影響の大きさなどは、一切考慮してくれません。
In addition, most examination schools decide the deadline against both natural and man-made disaster in advance, and don't consider the scale of the accident.
大体、入試開始時間から30分が遅着の限界で、しかも、それは受験会場に入れてくれるというだけで、受験時刻をずらしてくれる訳ではありません。
The limit time is almost 30 minutes, that means to be able to let them put in the place, not to shift the time table of the examination.
簡単に言うと「60分間の試験問題を30分間で解け」ということです。
In short, they say "try to solve a test for 60 min. for only 30 min."
多くの受験校は、「雪」や「人身事故」などの場合、
Most examination schools is supposed to handle with saying
―― 運がなかったね
"Bad luck"
という取り扱いをする訳です。
against the above accidents.

真面目に合格を目指して受験に取り組んできた受験生や保護者が、「運がなかったね」で納得できる訳ありません。
There is no reason that any examiner and the guardian who have been working for the examination seriously, can understand the words "bad luck".
しかし、学校としても、全ての受験生の個人的な事情を考慮することはできないことも理解できます。
On the other hand, I also understand that examination schools cannot consider each private reason of all of the examinee.
ならば、何が何でも受験会場に届ける為の「作戦」を立案し、実行するのが、保護者の責務と言えましょう。
So, making and executing operations in order to take the examinee to the examination place at any cost is a guardian's duty.

この作戦は、GoogleMAPを使って印刷したA4,12枚の紙を張り合わせるところから、始まりました。
This operation started when I competed twelves A4-size papers that had been printed by Google MAP site.
受験当日の2週間前のことです。
