私は、松茸(まつたけ)も椎茸(しいたけ)も食べたことがあります。

I had both matsutake mushroom and shiitake mushroom before.

確かに松茸は美味しいと思うのですが、もし、松茸が椎茸と同じ値段で提供されるとしたら、あれほどに松茸が珍重されるだろうか、と思うこともあります。

I can admit that matsutake mushroom smells good, and the taste is also good. But if both of them go at the same price, I don't think that matsutake becomes at a premium.

その一例として、鯨肉があります。
