昨夜、初めてスーパー銭湯の床屋に入ってみました。

夜の22:20まで営業しているとかで、とても助かります。

私、タクシーでも、床屋でも、寝たフリなどして、会話をしないようにしているのですが、今日担当して頂いた方は、体躯の大きな70歳代の女性でした。

という一言で、私の週末ライターとしての興味が湧いてきて、話を聞く風を装いながらインタビューをしていました。

江端:「パソコンが使えなくて、困ったことはありませんか？」

女性:「全くないですねえ。困ることって何かありますか」

江端:「切符の購入とか、買い物とか、役所の列に並ばなくても書類を発行して貰えるとか、そういう点では便利と言えるかもしれませんよ」

女性:「ああ、そういうことは、旦那が全部やってくるから大丈夫です。電気工事の仕事をしていて、パソコンで図面とか描いていますから」

江端:「では、電子メールが使えなくて、困るということはありませんか」

女性:「メールは、携帯電話でやっています。あのショートメッセージというんですか？ スマホではないのですけどね」

Woman: "I'm doing e-mail on my mobile phone, ""short message"？ But, I don't use a smartphone.

江端:「いやいや、それは立派に『使いこなしている』というんですよ」

Ebata: "No, no doubt it is "you are doing" wonderfully.

女性:「娘と連絡を取るためだけに使っています。私の娘、今、介護の仕事をやっていて、いつでも電話できる訳ではないから」

Woman: "I use it only to get in touch with my daughter. My daughter is doing a nursing care now, so I can not call you anytime. "
