It is a continuation from yesterday.

Now I am going to introduce you to

"AktblitzIII", a big data handling software,

です。

I borrow now.

-----

For one case, when I make about 500 thousand object for twenty-nine years women, whose unmarried rate is 60.7%, the ratio of unmarried: married must be around 6:4?

When I write down the output of the simulator, and read them by "AktblitzIII", I can get the result easily.

The other day, though I made the heavy bug, "all Japanese women become single", I could delete it hurriedly.

Now, I think that these tools become more useful for not only data handling but also debug of simulator and others.

-----

Well, what I am doing today's diary, is an advertisement.

"It is a secret agent" if I say clearly.

For this series, I borrow this convenient tool free of charge, I hope I cooperate with enlargement of sale a little.

In addition, it is really great isn't it?

Tens of billions data handling comes to be possible with not a super computer, but a PC.

We become to be able to fight against the government policy, economic, and defense by numerical value.

-----

Against technocrats of government,

"Only one revolt" with only a home PC as a weapon,

is cool isn't it?

Recently, I often write about a new desktop environment by Linux OS in my diary.

Now I am developing the environment little by little.

On the other hand I have already destroyed more than ten systems since then, so I have a nervous disposition about system backup.

Therefor I have made a clone of the whole original Linux system last weekend.

-----

But I could not continue the task because the disk errors happened in the master disk.

So I tried to skip the errors, but I found a lot of error messages on the display.

This means,

"The Mater system has a big bomb that is going to crash the system itself, and the clone system also have the bomb.

In this case, I suppose to continue using the system including the bomb.

Because when I try to remove the bomb, I always crash the system on the ground of other reasons except for the bomb.

Even if it is crashed, I am going to start using the clone system.

It is said that "a problem does not have the problem until it becomes the problem"

-----

Yes. I know well that this is not any fundamental solution.

After all, this is the story about my personal computer.

These days, the affairs of tampering of measurement data are making a sensation.

The data are, "rate of fuel consumption", "nitrogen dioxide contained in automobile exhausts", for example.

We hear the phrase "tampering by software" in these affairs.

To tell you the truth, this phrase is very important to understand these affairs.

-----

Making "tampering of measurement data" is not difficult indeed.

It is enough to add or subtract a certain value to the measured data(that fails to meet the standard), for example.

For me, I will add a process to multiple the vales to random digits

-----

However, such tampering is too childish.

Because there is a possibility of easily discovered, just performing such a simple subtraction. when the disclosure instructions of other data (for example, engine emissions rotational speed, fuel mixture ratio) received.

In particular, when watching the time-series data of dynamic characteristic (for example, from idling to acceleration suddenly), some engineers can find this discrepancy easily.

In order to tamper with specified data, You need to tamper with all data including other parts, well-balanced.

However, it is surprisingly difficult to create a group of data that holds such uniformity.

I think it is impossible for only the human brain to make tampering data, in consideration of all the physical dynamics of the motor vehicle.

-----

In order to create "beautiful" tampering data, it is quicker to make a car in a computer.

It is a "virtual car".

Today, new my column is released, so I take a day off.

Let's turn the world by "Number" : Work style reform(1) "

Boss's going home is the strongest 'method to reduce overtime work' from the annoying section about 'working style reform'"

-----

The new theme has started, whose title is "Let's turn "Work style reform" by "Number".

A staff said "how about starting a new series", however we decided to the concept of "Numbers talks" as usual.

Anyway, this series "Let's Turn the World with Numbers" has already been the 41st time.

And, until now, there were a lot of people who complained about my writing composition.(Example: "I think that it is not good to let this person write about "work style reform")

However, there is no one alone who has faced fighting against my calculation and simulation results.

To be exact, there are several times I found the persons, however they had a completely crazy theory and I let them alone(eg, they seemed to misunderstand how to read the graph, meaning of standard deviation or dispersion)

But this is "not good".

Especially in the report of the power side (national or enterprise), they seemed to think that "anyway, one in the lower rank can not understand the numbers" in order to survive the spot(In the old days, a report submitted to a pollution trial, by a scholar of science (calculation, graph, etc mildly estimating the damage of pollution)).

Let's check it strictly with this feeling with "this guy must feel guilty when using numbers"

"except me"

-----

Thankfully, I have an enthusiastic fan of my writing;

Nevertheless, this was a thing of 15 years ago,

"It took less than two months, Mr.Ebata, who was set with American style business style, returned to Mr. Ebata before leaving Japan, ."

I was surprised at the fact that there were juniors who were observing calmly every single I had made.

(Continuation from yesterday)

When telling the story to the girls, the senior daughter(SD) rolled on the sofa with unpleasant expression apparently, and the junior daughter(JD) began to speak to me.

JD:"Daddy, is not that a bit too hight for a student?"

Ebata:"I do not think so, because the purpose of presenting is to" tell others about my thoughts as accurately as possible"

JD:"Well, that's right, but ..."

Ebata: "If they just read what you have written in the presentation materials, we don't have to gather at the conference venue. If we read the material, that is enough"

JD:"Well ..."

Ebata: "I think that presentation is like a "one-theatrical performance". It's a place and time to explain my idea to others with laughter and emotions in a few hours."

JD: "Well, I understand it. The other day, when I have to hear the presentation of university professor with reading paper and small voice, he really annoyed me.

Ebata: "Well, I guess so."

JD:"I decided not to go the college faculty at least"

Ebata: "Therefore, I think that "one-theatrical performance" is "violence that gives audience a pain only", if the performer can not be briefly spoken before the performance"

-----

JD: "I see, I understood the claim of you ... By the way, did you have a presentation in English at the International Conference" when you were a student? "

Ebata:"Yes?"

JD:"What did you say? Did you make a splendid "one-theatrical performance" when you were a college student because you are criticizing them ?

Ebata: "No, I had just attended a domestic conference with Japanese only. As a student, I launched a research team, and there was no connection to the international conference at all.

JD:"Let me change the question. "Dad, if you had even the conditions, could you have achieved the ideal presentation at the international conference?"

Ebata: "Well, it was impossible for me, my English proficiency at the college, was more devastating than now ..."

JD: And another question. "Dad, if you had even the conditions, could you have entered an international conference?"

Ebata: "No way. Well it was impossible. I think that there was absolutely no idea of presentation in English at that time. "

JD:"Well, Do the students, you criticize, have "more high intelligence with spirits that you at the time ?"

Ebata: "Well... I admit. they are more competent and spiritual than me at the time, ."

-----

At that time, the SD suddenly raised a shout!

SD:"Good job! !!. Oh, I feel better!!"

Ebata:"What's happened?

SD:"From a little while ago, I was seriously screaming about what you looked like to be great. Well I was cleared! Thank you, !! I will feel comfortable sleeping. "

While saying that, the SD passed by in front of me and disappeared in her room on the second floor.

Recently, the progress of presbyopia is so fast and I am really in trouble.

It cannot be helped that I cannot read books, but I am really in trouble that I cannot clearly see even the screen of the computer.

It is no exaggeration to say that personal computers are no longer part, moreover half of my body.

PC is a device, to get information, let me do various thoughts (calculations), and outputs my own opinion, my own content (text and calculation results), and my own pictures and music.

And PC and I, almost 100%, is connected only with the information "vision".

I have a lot of scary things in the world. Among them, it is really scary to lose visual information.

-----

Now, the unintelligible concept of "artificial intelligence" is spreading around the world.

I have continued to say all the time during the two-year series, that "the present computer architecture (Neumann type) can not produce intelligence".

In fact, with an increase of 4700 trillion times in computing power, we can not confirm any intelligence.

In this extension, even if the operation of the “general purpose quantum computer” is started, the birth of intelligence will not be expected.

-----

I think that it is a new field called "bio (living body) computer" if there is a possibility.

However, this is a new technology, and in addition, I am afraid that this "biocomputer" will face a great deal of ethical issues.

So instead of developing a "biocomputer" directly,

First, an artificial sensory device that can be connected directly to our brain,

Artificial eye, artificial ear, artificial vocal cord, artificial tongue

should be the first target.

There is no ethical problem with this technology.

Even if these device developments are criticized, they should criticize wheelchairs, hearing aids and glasses. It is because they can not get balance.

-----

I would like to ask you to develop an artificial eyeball before my eyes become useless.

First of all, I should think about it. That is "Whoever suggest should start."

Members of Parliament have the right to not have to be held accountable for what they say (criminal and civil penalties ) is guaranteed (Article 51 of the Constitution).

Our nation's highest-ranking decision-making council, the "Diet" (or more accurately, the council that makes laws), is notorious for its horrible field trips.

As you know, the sexual harassment relationship is particularly bad. From my point of view as an engineer, I sometimes think that the misunderstanding of technology (not "historical perception" but "technological perception") is terrible.

Nevertheless, I think Article 51 of the Constitution is a very important rule.

-----

I did some research and it seems that there is no provision for official language in parliament.

If this is the case, then members of the Diet do not have to speak "Japanese" in the Diet.

It doesn't matter what language you speak.

Nevertheless, if it's not Japanese, if it's a language that has been adopted into the "compulsory education" of "our country" and has been studied for at least 6 years and up to 12 years, then from a socially accepted perspective, I think it's okay to be allowed to use that language.

Then, by the Chairman's authority,

"Right now, I'm going to change the language from Japanese to English"

I think they can declare that.

At the very least, there doesn't seem to be any law that makes this illegal.

How about if the yapping is so bad that the Speaker can declare a change in the official language, when the decency of the parliament has deteriorated.

I think that this one rule - even if we don't invoke that declaration - would drastically reduce the number of people yapping in the field.

Because if the person who is yapping is suddenly silent, he or she should be ashamed of themselves.

-----

Article 51 of the Constitution shall be observed. The dignity of Parliament would be kept. Moreover, a strong incentive for the Japanese to teach English would be provided.

I would like to ask you to consider this.

Just looking at the title of the article -- "People who study hard but are dumb" -- makes me angry.

------

I wondered what it meant to be "dumb" in the first place -- and reviewed my diary. I also had used the word "dumb" many times.

In my case, I seem to be uniformly calling people 'dumb', who 'believe that anti-social activities with thinking as cool', 'repeat idealistic and irrational claims', or 'force patriotism on others'

My use of "dumb" seems to be explained in a manner of speaking as "a person who is unable to communicate properly," irrespective of whether or not they have studied.

-----

In contrast, "dumb" in the phrase "people who study hard but are dumb" seems to be used to mean "unable to produce results.

If that's what they mean, then "people who study hard but are dumb" is exactly what I am.

So I guess that the phrase has made me angry.

------

I'm really, really, really one of "people who study hard but are dumb".

Especially in English, law, and work, I've probably been studying for an astonishing amount of time, but I haven't really seen any "results" (grades, money, status).

After a long period of time, I finally admitted (or gave up) that I was dumb even though I was studying hard.

In other words, I gave up "studying as a means to an end".

-----

So, if you're asking me what I did... -- If I may be so bold as to say, I changed my policy of

"Enjoy the study itself"

To put it simply, it's a switch to studying without the concept of "results".

Unlike examinations or qualifications, it is a study where the direction (bias) of the study and the time spent on the study are determined solely by my "discretion".

-----

In the same way that "those who are not loved by English will never be loved no matter what they do.

If you're not smart enough to study, you're not going to be smart enough until you die.

Why don't you stop wasting your efforts? -- I have stopped it.

-----

I'm sure that those who study hard and are smart can see a wonderful world that I cannot.

In comparison, "I, who study hard but am dumb," cannot see things from a bird's eye view, and hence I keep writing columns where I keep running into problems in society and keep complaining about them.

Or, on the weekend, I painstakingly put a crappy IT system on a $5,000 on-board computer, or on a $500/month cloud server, and I can feel happy with that little piece of success.

Though these not-so-beautiful days of "I study hard but I'm dumb" will continue until the day I die,

I'm fine with that.

About the "Unification Church" of yesterday's diary, they were called "Genri" or "Genri-Ken" in the college campus. (Now they seem to call them "CARP")

There seems to be several arguments about the relationship between them, however, I think that they are both "cult".

I have not felt the necessary to change my recognition at all (though I have forgotten them for a long time).

-----

Kyoto has been a sort of college town, so there were a lot of swarming "Genri" around the town.

They talked to me in an over-familiar manner, and the start of talking was always

"Are you happy now?"

On the other hand, I didn't think that "I am an normal student". So it was easy to handle these guys.

"Angry shouts" in the public streets, was a piece of cake for a student who was living in a self-governed dormitory.

They seemed to be surprised at a student who could counter-attack with angry shouts in public space.

-----

After those days, I felt to be annoyed by them. So I changed the strategy.

"Are you happy now?"

"Of course, Yes, I am dazzlingly happy every day. Are you not?"

with looking at them with a concerned expression. Mostly they stood there stunned.

As far as I remember, the win rate was 100%.

-----

Suddenly, I remember now--

I once started to eliminate a cult group that had entered my boarding house by putting up dozens of flyers "Outsiders, get out!

In addition, I was loud shouting match with a guy who came to my room for nearly one hour around 2:00 AM, to make the group members keep hearing the rage contents.

I did not relent in my attack until I had removed everyone from the boarding house.

Looking back, I think they were "Ome" not "Genri" (they were dressed like that).

-----

I think that the successes of this time, became a method of mine, like

"If something goes wrong, make it to 'flame-out' instead of 'extinguish'"

As for college cult circles,

the Episode 5 of "Shijohan Shinwa Taikei" is also a good reference (jump to YouTube).

I saw on the news that a prominent celebrity had committed suicide.

One of the causes was slander via social networking sites (but no news source seems to be certain at this time).

Social networking may be indispensable for those considered "expressionists," including entertainers.

Some expressionists may have no choice but to use social networking sites (or perhaps they would not be able to disobey if their office gave them a work order).

-----

I guess I am what you call a "little guy" who can write a column with this kind of content.

However,

"Thanks to being a small-time expressionist, I don't have to put my life on the line for social networking sites."

So, I feel fortunate.
